# Legacy (Ethereum)

Squirrel was originally built for Ethereum in 2020. It was running on eth for 6 months before the token was migrated over to BSC for v2 with farming. Therefore the old eth token is now useless. **Do not try to use it. Squirrel only exists on BSC.**

See the [Medium here](https://squirrelfinance.medium.com/squirrel-v2-announcement-b5c8db08e2d6) for more details of the migration.
